Roxann GD Fishing

Roxann GD uses the raw information from the first and second echo on any generic Echo sounder to process roughness (E1) and hardness(E2) Data. This Roughness (E1) and Hardness (E2) data are then interfaced with a Roxann GD compatible plotter (Piscatus3D, Maxsea, Olex, Roxmap and more) and displayed based on the Roxann GD Bottom Classification Palette.

(Click icon at left for larger view)

The data can be displayed in 2D or 3D display modes, as roughness (E1) only, hardness (E2) only, or a combination of E1/E2 which will give you bottom classification (like mud, silt, sand, weed, gravel and rock). This gives you an advanced 2D/3D view of the bottom that is also mapping different habitats where specific species are feeding.

The screens below show how data from the RoxAnn GD is integrated with the Piscatus system for displaying seafloor information.
